Emerson 5A: In this receiver the A.V.C. circuit functions to control three tubes. The volume control is designed for good tone quality at any volume setting. The vibrator "B" unit is plug-in type, and reversible to match the battery polarity in the car. Remarkable improvements in car sets are indicated these diagrams of the new automotive radio receivers shown on the preceding page.
