An Engineer's Valentine

These engineering and science tech-centric jokes, song parodies, anecdotes and assorted humor have been collected from friends and websites across the Internet. I check back occasionally for new fodder, but it seems all the old content is reappearing all over (like this is). The humor is light-hearted and clean and sometimes slightly assaultive to the easily-offended, so you are forewarned. It is all workplace-safe.

As with so many creative content found on the Internet, it is often difficult - if not impossible to learn the true provenance of images and writings. In such instances, I usually reference the website where I found the piece. Whenever the true origin in known with certainty, I am sure to link to its creator as well. Here is a case of the former, found just in time for Valentine's Day 2011.

But not the spark of love

My heart is overjoyed

You turn the whole square of my heart

Into a sinusoid

You load things from my memory

My life was once assembly code

But now it's C++

I love the way you solder things

The voltage across your diode

Is much more than point-six
