John Comstock created many
crossword puzzles for Radio & TV News magazine, and a couple others, in
the 1950s and 1960s. This one titled "Test Equipment Teaser," appeared in the
March 1959 issue. It is not a densely populated grid with complex intersections
of crossing words (unlike the RF Cafe crossword puzzles, which do have them),
but at least with this kind, all of the words and clues are directly related to
electronics and technology (like RF Cafe crosswords). Anyway, it shouldn't take
you too long to zip through this one. The only clue/word that might give you
trouble is 32 Across. Enjoy.

Take a well-deserved break and try your hand at some of these goodies.
Every word in the RF Cafe crossword puzzles is specifically related to engineering,
mathematics, and science. There are no generic backfill words like many other puzzles
give you, so you'll never see a clue asking for the name of a movie star or a mountain
on the Russia-China border.
All of these crossword puzzles were created using the fabulous
Crossword Express (now called "Magnum Opus") software.
