San Diego, California – October 11, 2024 - TotalTemp Technologies offers advanced and innovative methods for meeting and optimizing your thermal testing requirements. We specialize in benchtop thermal testing because small batches are typically the most cost-effective approach. We offer heat transfer by conduction with thermal platforms, forced convection as in traditional temperature chambers, combined systems, and thermal vacuum for Space Simulation. SD144/288N Dual Zone Thermal Platforms Cryogenically Cooled Thermal Platforms Temperature Range –100°C to +200°C (L-N2) Thermal testing of Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers and other devices with dramatically uneven power dissipation can easily be achieved with a dual zone thermal platform. Managing the heat produced by the electron gun side allows for the RF outputs side to be tested at various required temperatures. The Dual Zone Thermal Platforms allows the user to maintain safe controlling temperatures on either end of the device using a single Synergy Nano Temperature Controller. The Traveling wave tube at the right is shown clamped with Light Duty Dual Clamp Set set. Sold as an option and mounting to standard platform hole patterns allows prototype work be performed with ease. The clamping force can be adjusted as needed to effectively hold the device under test to the thermal platform. Also shown here with a Low ESD Polycarbonate Probing Cover. TotalTemp Technologies has developed thermal dual zone test equipment (image to the right) for either the (SSPA) Solid State Power Amplifier or the higher wattage (TWTA) Traveling Wave Tube Amplifier for many applications. The United States Air Force, Army and Navy, NASA, JPL and others use these platforms for the testing of various solid state amplifiers, oscillators, antennas and antenna arrays, phase shifters and in particular ultra-high efficiency TWT amplifiers. On the ground , in the air or space, TotalTemp helps facilitate required environmental testing. Dual Thermal Platforms SD144-N (image to the right) features valves which are remotely housed in order to allow for these 12 x 12 inch Thermal Platforms to be orientated vertically without affecting the orientation sensitive cryogenic valve assembly. The controller is able to control both platforms and is installed in a 3U19 inch rack panel in this example of a very successful product we offer. TotalTemp Technologies is here for you.
