RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...

March 16, 2021 - Anatech Electronics offers the industry's largest portfolio of high-performance standard and customized RF and microwave filters and filter-related products for military, commercial, aerospace and defense, and industrial applications up to 40 GHz. Two new cavity filters have been introduced. The AB838B904 bandpass filter features a 804.5-871.5 MHz passband with 1 dB insertion loss and can handle 50 watts. The AB2350B490 bandpass filter covers 2300 to 2400 MHz with 1.7 dB insertion loss and handles up to 70 watts. Custom RF power directional coupler designs can be designed and produced when a standard cannot be found, or the requirements are such that a custom approach is necessary.

The AB838B904 features a 1 dB insertion loss from 804.5-871.5 MHz and a center frequency of 838 MHz. Return loss within the passband is 1.5:1 max, rejection at 800 MHz is greater than 40 dB and a Power handling of 50 watts. Connectors are SMA (F), but can be fitted with any RF connectors.

Passband: 804.5 – 871.5 MHz

Insertion Loss @ 838 MHz: 1.0 dB Max.

Passband Return Loss: 14 dB Min.

Rejection 2: 40 dB Min. @ 1600-2500 MHz

Power Handling: 50 Watts

The 40 TD-LTE bandpass p/n AB2350B490 filter has a center frequency of 2350 MHz passing the band from 2300 to 2400 MHz. The filter exhibits a very sharp roll off from the passband to the rejection band with a greater than 80 dB of rejection at 2250 MHz and at 2450 MHz with a power handling of 70 watts.

Passband Frequency: 2300-2400 MHz

Passband Insertion loss: <1.7 dB

Passband Return Loss: >15 dB

Rejection 1: 80 dB @2250 MHz

Rejection 2: 80 dB @2450 MHz

Power Handling: 70 Watts
