October 6, 2017 - It's an exciting time for RF/Microwave
design and test hardware to meet customer's requirements for 5G, IoT, Satellite Communications,
etc. We are pushing beyond 40 GHz and also focusing on 5G Applications at sub-6 GHz,
28 GHz and 39 GHz. Also working on custom designs. We recently announced in
Mini-Circuits
Components Now Available in Modular Drop-In Format from X-Microwave, that over 400 Mini-Circuits
are available using X-Microwave blocks.
Connectorized Solid-State SP4T Absorptive Switch, 1 to
6000 MHz
ZSWA4-63DR+ is a connectorized SP4T solid state absorptive RF switch with an internal driver
supporting a wide of applications from 1 to 6000 MHz. This model is ideal for applications
requiring extremely fast switching with a switch speed of just 320 ns.
The switch provides 57 dB isolation up to 2700 MHz (36 dB at 6000 MHz),
+58 dBm IP3, and RF input power handling up to +33 dBm. It operates on a single
2.3 to 3.6 V supply, and comes housed in a rugged, compact aluminum alloy case (2.00
x 1.5 x 0.6") with SMA connectors at all RF ports and a 9-pin D-sub connector for DC power
and control signals.
Miniature Lumped Element Low Pass Filter Passes DC to 137
MHz with Sharp Rejection
ULP-137+ is a surface-mount, lumped element low pass filter with a passband from DC to
137 MHz. This design provides very sharp rejection with 86% slope from the 3 dB
cutoff to 20 dB rejection, and greater than 40 dB rejection from 200 MHz to 3 GHz.
It provides 1.5 dB typical insertion loss in the passband and handles RF input power
up to 0.8 W.
The unit gives designers the advantages of excellent selectivity and high stopband rejection
in a miniature form factor occupying only 0.25 x 0.25" of board space. Designed using miniature,
high-Q capacitors and chip inductors, it provides high reliability, repeatable performance
across production lots and consistent performance across temperatures from -40°C to +100°C.
The filter comes mounted on printed wiring laminate with Mini-Circuits' TopHat feature to
maximize speed and efficiency of pick-and-place assembly.
Broadband Limiter Provides Limiting Range of +10 to +37 dBm
from 20 to 4000 MHz
Mini-Circuits' new ZFLM-43-5W+ broadband coaxial limiter is ideal for protecting sensitive
circuitry in a wide range of applications from 20 to 4000 MHz with input limiting range from
+10 to +36 dBm.
It achieves low output power leakage of +12 dBm, 0.1 dB typical ΔOutput / 1 dB
Δinput, 33 ns recovery time, 0.36 dB insertion loss, and 1.2:1 VSWR. The unit comes
in a compact, aluminum alloy case (1.25 x 1.25 x 0.75") with SMA-F to SMA-M connectors.
Ultra-Flexible Test Cables Deliver Stable Performance vs.
Flexure from DC to 18 GHz
Mini-Circuits new ULC-series ultra-flexible test cables provide low insertion loss and
excellent VSWR for a wide range of test applications from DC to 18 GHz.
These cables are specially designed for stability of phase and amplitude versus flexure
in bend radii as tight as 2 inches (2.0" minimum dynamic bend radius, 0.7" minimum static
bend radius), making them ideal for demanding lab environments where frequent bending is common.
Featuring rugged, triple-shielded cable construction with a unique molded boot, they give
you the advantage of flexibility with outstanding reliability and durability for a long life
of use. ULC-series cables come in a variety of lengths to meet your needs with our choice
of SMA-M to SMA-M or N-M to N-M connectors.
