RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while typing up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...

A Few Great RF & Microwave Engineering Articles for November 2016

RF & Microwave Engineering Articles for November 2016 - RF CafeOctober must have been really busy because I totally missed posting a list of good magazine articles for the month. At the top of the list is Alejandro Buritica (National Instruments) discussing the IEEE's recently announced 802.11ax WiFi standard, which is projected to provide data speeds of up to 10 Gbps in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ISM bands. There is also a pretty good article on capacitor ESR basics and measurement thereof. Items move onto and off of all homepages quickly, so even if you visit Microwave & RF, Microwave Journal, Microwave Product Digest, High Frequency Electronics, et al, regularly, you might have missed something in the list below.

Here is a complete list of all featured RF & microwave articles in 2016.
