RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...

How to Hire the Perfect Employee |
A
picture of human brains is not the way I normally prefer to illustrate
a concept, but in this case it works pretty well. Inc magazine
columnist Phil Libin, who is a co-founder of
Evernote, wrote about
a common lament of not just entrepreneurs like himself, but also of
big corporation managers -
a tendency to micromanage underlings. The article is only one page
long so I won't regurgitate everything he wrote other than to say that
in the end, the solution is to always hire people that can do the required
job better than you can do it yourself. That way you are not always
disappointed at performance because you believe you could do the job
better yourself if only you had the time. That's great advice. Look
at the full-size picture he uses.
