Donate Your Radio |
 The
Radio Club of Junior High School 22 (WB2JKJ) in New York is running
a campaign to get people to
donate unused
Ham radio gear. Per the group's website: "Turn your excess Ham Radios
and related items into a tax break for you and learning tool for kids.
Donate your radio or related gear to an IRS approved 501 (c)(3) charity.
Get the tax credit and help a worthy cause. Equipment picked up anywhere
or shipping arranged. Radios you can write off - kids you can't." This
applies to a school near you as well.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...
