Folks, if you want an eye-popping experience, go to the MSN Money Central "Insider Trading" page and type in your company's stock market trading symbol (Lockheed Martin=LMT, Tyco=TYC, Qualcomm=QCOM, Analog Devices=ADI, etc.). 100s of 1,000s and even 1,000,000s of $$$ in exercised options and stock sales by corporate officers. For a monthly industry overview, bookmark this page from Silicon Strategies (you'll have to do the math on this one, though). Mention what you see the next time you're told the company cannot afford raises or bonuses this year. Not everybody's hurting out there.

About RF Cafe RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived... |
