RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...

November 5, 2021 - Anatech Electronics offers the industry's largest portfolio of high-performance standard and customized RF and microwave filters and filter-related products for military, commercial, aerospace and defense, and industrial applications up to 40 GHz. Three new filter models have been introduced - two bandpass and one highpass. Part Number AE401B11912 is a cavity bandpass filter covering 401-402 MHz, AE1090CB1829 is a ceramic bandpass filter with a 6 MHz bandwidth centered at 1090 MHz, and AE18000SSH6616 is an 18 GHz suspended substrate highpass filter. Custom RF power directional coupler designs can be designed and produced when a standard cannot be found, or the requirements are such that a custom approach is necessary.

401.5 MHz Cavity Band Pass Filter for Satellite Communication - RF CafePart Number AE401B11912 is a cavity band pass filter with a center frequency at 401.5 MHz and a bandwidth of 1 MHz, 401-402 MHz. Rejecting 393-395 MHz by 30 dB.

Insertion Loss : 2.0 dB Max.

1090 MHz Ceramic Bandpass Filter - RF CafePart Number AE1090CB1829 Ceramic Band Pass filter is centered an 1090 MHz with a passband of 6 MHz and an insertion loss of 3 dB maximum. The filter has a sharp roll off and rejects 1050 MHz and 1090 MHz by 30 dB minimum.

18 GHz - 40 GHz Suspended Substrate Highpass Filter - RF CafePart Number AE18000SSH6616 is an 18 GHz to 40 GHz suspended substrate Highpass filter with a sharp roll off. Its rejection is 50 dB minimum at DC to 15 GHz and 30 dB minimum at 17 GHz. Insertion loss is less than 1 dB within the passband.

Pass Band Frequency: 18~40 GHz

Pass Band Insertion Loss: ≤2.0dB @ 18~19.5 GHz, ≤1.0dB @ 19.5~40 GHz
