Triad RF Systems Intros 400 - 450 MHz CubeSat/NanoSat Base Station Amplifier - RF CafeFebruary 21, 2018: Triad RF Systems announces the TA1181, which has been designed for use from 400 to 450 MHz, and is typically used in but not limited to CubeSat and NanoSat GCS (Ground Station) applications. This amplifier module has a maximum output power of 158 Watts and can be used with a multitude of waveforms, from GMSK/BPSK up to highly modulated signals such as 64QAM and 256QAM for higher data rate applications.

It is capable of supporting any signal type and modulation format, including but not limited to 3-4G telecom, WLAN, OFDM, DVB, and CW/AM/FM. The latest device technologies and design methods are employed to offer high power density, efficiency, and linearity in a small, lightweight package.

The TA1181 features high speed on/off control, over and under voltage protection, and temperature monitoring all packed into a small form factor.
