Avenel,
New Jersey - March 20, 2010 KR Electronics introduces part number
2910
a surface mount 875 MHz pseudo elliptic bandpass filter. The filter has a typical insertion loss of 3.5 dB and
minimum 3 dB bandwidth of 42 MHz. The filter attains over 50 dB rejection by 831 MHz and 920 MHz. The use of
elliptic bandpass at bandwidths at low as 5% allows superior performance to all-pole designs in a smaller
package. The filter is supplied in an surface mount package measuring 2.0 x 0.5 x 0.3 inches and can also be
supplied connectorized. The filter can be customized for other center frequencies and bandwidths.
RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while tying up your telephone line, and a lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail"
when a new message arrived...
