Phase noise measurement - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

-- Amateur Radio
-- Anecdotes, Gripes & Humor
-- Antennas
-- CAE, CAD, & Software
-- Circuits & Components
-- Employment & Interviews

Can anyone recommend a turnkey software program that is capable of measuring both discrete and continuous phase noise using one of the newer spectrum analyzers. I'm going to be buying a S/A and want to make sure there is something available pre-written to support it.

Time is of the essence. :!: :!: :!:

Thanks for your help.

I would not normally make a commercial response on a QA website but our software (www.quantumchange.com) will allow you to make most measurements you can image using a wide range of SA.

For more detailed questions/Answers hit the 'Contact Sales' button on the web-site.

Regards,
