patent application - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Hi I am on contract with an organization. There is a design I came up with prior to working with them and something that was done in my own time. Now having done all the searches I am pretty sure this is a sure thing. The organization i'm on contrcat with wants to file the design for a patent. Now prior to providing them with the details I need to know what is teh best deal one can get it terms of patent royalties. 30%? 50%?80%????

Anyone with good experience in this area that can advise me?

Thanks
