internship opportunities in RF system design - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Hi,

I am a grad student in the US and I am looking for co-op/internship opportunities in RF system design. Could some one pl suggest where to start looking? All the organizations that I looked for required US Citizenship. I am not an American Citizen and am on a F1 visa. I have worked on antenna design for voice and data networks, done a bit of work on antenna diversity in WLAN (as part of my undergrad thesis) and am currently working on RF system design as part of my grad research.

Can someone guide me on how to go about this?

Thanks!!

Karthik

For high performing positions, there are potential opportunities for h1b sponsorship through Sprint (at least I can speak for the RF department)
