Systems engineer position in San Diego - Texas Instruments - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-10 years of professional experience and significant experience with UMTS (Strongly preferred) or GSM/WCMA or Systems on a chip (SoC) or handsets. Knowledge of wireless communications theories and cellular standards is required. Extensive knowledge of wireless handset System-On-Chip development is also strongly desired along with an understanding HW/SW partitioning and hardware platforms. Working knowledge of L1, MAC, and signaling layers of cellular systems is needed. Experience with RF IC’s / systems is also desired.
