Symmetricom Looking for an RF Design Engineer - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Symmetricom, located in Beverly, MA, is a worldwide leader in precise time and frequency products and services. Their customers include communication service providers, network equipment manufacturers, U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), aerospace contractors, enterprises, governments and research facilities.

They just opened a position for an R&D Hardware Engineer - an individual capable of project management, designing and supporting production for a variety of precision frequency source applications in the space, military and avionics industries. In particular, the individual will be the responsible Project Engineer for various precision crystal oscillator projects. The detailed responsibilities include circuit design and related technical analyses, production and sales support, test development and direct customer technical interface. Sound oscillator design skills and knowledge and understanding of the effects of space and military applications, shock, vibration, temperature and radiation are critical.
