RF/Microwave Engineer Job Opening with ViaSat - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

RF/Microwave Engineer (5243)

Location Phoenix AZ

Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include the design, development and test of 1 to 90 GHz multi-chip modules and subcircuit design for existing products and advanced new product development programs. Design work to include power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, filters and IC packages. Employee will work on a collaborative team of electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and test engineers to ensure successful product development and transfer to production.

Experience/Skills Required: Experience in multi-chip module design at high frequencies. Experience in MMIC, amplifier, filter, mixer or oscillator design a plus. General knowledge of system design. Experience with Agilent ADS necessary. Experience with HFSS, IE3D, Sonnet or other electromagnetic simulators also preferred. MSEE and 8+ years experience preferred.

Citizenship requirements US Citizenship Required

Travel Required Up to 10 percent

Years of Experience Required 8 plus years

Minimum Education Requirements BA/BS
