Guest Post subject: LNA (equivalent noise resistance parameter)
Posted: Mon Oct 10, 2005 12:47 pm Hi,
I'm using the following
transistor for an LNA design:
http://www.semiconductors.philips.com/pip/BFG520W.html
I can get the s-parameter blocks from the website, but don't know
what to use for Rn - the equivalent noise resistance parameter. Does
anyone know how to read this off the datasheet? (say for 900MHz)
Some vendors give noise data at the end of the .s2p files, e.g.
NEC do. Philips obviously don't.
Thanks
