sending 20MHZ rf signal - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Hi,
I need to buy a chip that is able to send 20MHz sin wave massage and a receiver chip that is able to receive that 20 MHz sin wave.
It can use carrier or not, but the idea is for the 20 MHz sin wave to be transmit within 15 m.

Can you pls help on how I can get the chip, I look everywhere, they only transmit low frequency signal (KHz), or if I need to build one, what the gain of the amplifier should be?
thanks.
