6G 150W Attenuator - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Hello,

I would like to find a 6GHz 150W Attenuator to design my system. Do you have any suggestions? This is because the supplies, such as Aeroflex, Bird, ... etc, no this large power attenuator. Please help. Thank you.

I suggest an Aeroflex-Weinschel Type 49 if you just want fixed attenuation. It is rated 150W at up to 8.5GHz in a range of fixed values.
