Sivers IMA Chosen by SAF Tehnika - RF Cafe

"This is an important win for us. As a supplier of components our success is based on the fact that radio link manufacturers choose our converters to build into their products. We have had a good dialogue with SAF Tehnika during our development process and we are now at a stage where they are ready to order a customized module to integrate in their end product. Being chosen by SAF Tehnikas highly skilled team is an excellent quality mark for our new generation converters," says Robert Ekström, CEO of Sivers IMA.

"We have evaluated the market thoroughly and found Sivers IMA's converters to be the best alternative. We believe there is a significant market potential in the years to come and look forward to working with Sivers IMA," says Normunds Bergs, CEO of SAF Tehnika.

SAF Tehnika provides wireless backhaul solutions for digital data transferring to operators of mobile and fixed network operators, data service providers, governments and private companies. All products are produced in Europe and are distributed to more than 100 countries across the globe.

RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
