Spectrum Control Receives $1.2 Million Order for
Microwave
Integrated Assemblies

6, 2008 ----- Spectrum Control, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPEC), a leading
designer and manufacturer of custom electronic products and systems,
announced today that its Microwave Business Segment has received a $1.2
million order for a microwave integrated assembly used in military tactical
communication terminals. Product deliveries should start early in 2009,
with additional orders and releases under the program expected periodically
throughout the next three years. These complex assembly products will
be manufactured at the Company's facility in Marlborough, Massachusetts,
which was part of the Company's recent acquisition of SatCon Electronics,
Inc.
