Tales from the Cube: "Priming the Relays"

Tales from the Cube: Priming the Relays - RF CafeTales from the Cube is a regular feature run by EDN, in which readers tell tales of interesting experiences in their engineering careers. This particular story is very interesting and highlights why you should never accept that a solution to a problem has been found until you fully understand the initial cause. What's really scary is that evidently this product and its 'cure' are probably still doing active service in airplanes around the globe. It is hard to believe that a QA department would sign off on such a deal.
