qualcomm interview for RF position - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

hi guys am writing in for the first time
i got a telephonic interview coming uo
after reading all the previous mails i felt u guys cud help me
the position is for system level testing of chipsets of advanced handsets tht the QCT divsion makes ,and also demands a thorough knowledge of cdma ,1xev-do,wcdma ---- and other wireless standards

my prob is i have done only abt one course in RFcd and microwave systems engg .
by the description above do u think they can ask me Q relating to VLSI as i am not into VLSI

JUS CURIOUS

and any other tips tht u can give

Sounds like you aren't a good fit for that position. But perhaps they are also looking to hire recent grads. Don't say you have knowledge you don't... They will find out rather quickly.
