RFMD is without a doubt the best company
I have ever worked for, and the good news is that they have openings
now for both engineers and technicians with RF backgrounds.
If
you want to work in an environment where your talents will be challenged
in team-oriented projects, while having the freedom to innovate at a
personal level, then RFMD is the place for you. It is the only place
I have ever worked where the labs have been stocked with ample test
equipment for everyone to get his/her job done*. The company is mature
in its market position and leads the world in GaAs fab facilities. Its
three founders still roam the halls daily, and have seen to it that
the company maintains the entrepreneurial spirit that launched it to
success. My function there put me in a privileged position where I interacted
with all levels of management and engineering, as I can personally attest
to the impressive capabilities of everyone in the organization.
You owe it to yourself to check RFMD out.
* That's not to
say other places do not have similar environments, it's just that I
haven't worked for them.
