BTS Cavity Filter Designer - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Hello, my group is presently looking for a filter designer to aid in our development of combline and DR cavity filters. We have a unique, proprietary, approach which already has several potential customers banging down our door. In short, we have too much business and can't address all of the opportunities coming our way. As you may have guessed, I'm not a recruiter but an engineer working in this group. RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
