RFID CARD / JAMMER OR BLOCKER - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

Real easy question,

is there anything that can distort, block or jam a the RFID chip inside credit cards?

I know that many conductive material can shield the radio signals, but i am looking for some kind of super blocker or jammer that i don't have to wrap each card in it. I want something that i can place in my wallet or bag and it will be able to block RFID scanners from getting my card signals.

Thanks for the help, any ideas will be deeply thanked!
