Non-contact power transfer with air-cored transformer? - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Greetings
I need to commute power thru a coaxial rotating joint (with 100mm hole thru the middle)

Does anyone have any advice for calculations?

Presently I am using 5Khz and can transfor about a Watt but need to scale this up to several Watts.
