Need wire dipoles for 900 MHz ? - RF Cafe Forums

The original RF Cafe Forums were shut down in late 2012 due to maintenance issues - primarily having to spend time purging garbage posts from the board. At some point I might start the RF Cafe Forums again if the phpBB software gets better at filtering spam.

Below are the old forum threads, including responses to the original posts.

I need a number of dipoles for 900 MHz operation. I could fabricate these myself using a couple of bits of wire soldered to the end of a coax with a ferrite balun and pot the junction but I don't really have the time to do this. App is narrowband at around 900 MHz with RF power of no more than 1 Watt. Can anyone suggest an antenna manufacturer that has anything off-the-shelf ?
