What is a BLE module based on Nordic nRF52?

nRF52 is the second generation series of Bluetooth® low-power system-on-chip (SoC) devices from Nordic Semiconductor, a leading wireless technology company specializing in IoT. nRF52840 SoC is the most advanced member of the nRF52 series SoC family. It meets the challenges of complex applications that require protocol concurrency and a rich variety of peripheral devices and functions. It covers the baseline of Bluetooth 5 devices from low complexity to highly specialized devices. The chip contains the ARMTrustZone®CryptoCell encryption unit, which provides a wide range of encryption options and can be executed efficiently independently of the CPU.

The MDBT50Q-1MV2 is a BT5.2 and BT5.1 stack Bluetooth Low Energy module is designed based on the Nordic nRF52840 SoC solution. With it's compact size, flexibility and FCC, IC, CE pre-certification, the MDBT50Q-1MV2 is highly suited to a wide range of Bluetooth® low power consumption and 2.4GHz ultra-low-power wireless applications.
