Skyworks Announces New Family of GPIO-controlled, High Performance RF Cellular Switches - RF CafeSkyworks is pleased to introduce a family of GPIO-controlled, high performance RF cellular switches for LTE and GSM applications. The SKY13581-676LF (SP2T), SKY13582-676LF (SP3T) and SKY13626-685LF (SP4T) are for LTE, while the SKY13597-684LF (SP4T) is for GSM.

SKY13581-676LF (SP2T) Features

  • Broadband frequency range: 0.4 to 3.8 GHz
  • Very low insertion loss High isolation: 25 dB at 2.7 GHz
  • Integrated GPIO interface
  • No DC blocking capacitors required
  • Lead (Pb)-free and RoHS-compliant Small QFN (9-pin, 1.1 x 1.1 x 0.5 mm) package (MSL1, 260 °C per JEDEC J-STD-020)

This new family of switches is ideal for smartphones, data cards and MiFi® hotspot applications.  These devices are designed to operate over the complete cellular frequency range including support for Band 42 and Band 43 (up to 3.8 GHz), allowing customers to use one part for all band requirements. They also feature low insertion loss for higher transmission efficiency and excellent harmonic performance with improved receiver sensitivity. The SKY13581-676LF, SKY13582-676LF and SKY13626-685LF share a common layout and are pin-to-pin, footprint compatible, enabling faster development time for customers.
