RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling
2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed
formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit
design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at
the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps
while typing up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got
Mail" when a new message arrived...

824-960MHz – 1710-1990 MHz Tri-band Cavity Duplexer
AD892-1850D227 tri-band cavity duplexer has a low-band passband of 824 to 960 MHz (GSM), covering the full
cellular band, and a high-band passband of 1710 to 1990 MHz, covering the GSM1800and the PCS bands, making it
well suited for multi-band base station applications. Insertion loss is 0.3 dB or less, isolation of the lower
and upper bands is greater than 80 dB, and return loss in the two bands is more than 20 dB. It measures 141 x

800-2500 MHz Four-way Multi-band Power Divider
AM1650PD873 four-way power divider covers the GSM, GSM1800, PCS, and UMTS 3G bands. Basic specifications

824 to 2170 MHz 30 dB Dual Directional Coupler for Multi-band
AM1497DC850 30dB dual directional coupler operates from 824 to 2170 MHz, making it an excellent choice for
dual-band wireless applications. It has insertion loss of 0.5 dB, coupling flatness of 0.5 dB, directivity of
at least 20 dB, and VSWR of 1.5:1 or less. The coupler will handle 300 W average and 3 kW peak power, and uses
male and female Type-N connectors.
