Z-Comm Introduces ZRO2405A1LF S-Band VCO with Low Phase Noise

Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO
(Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model
ZRO2405A1LF in S-band. The
ZRO2405A1LF operates at 2400-2410 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical
phase noise of -116 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 8 MHz/V.
 The
ZRO2405A1LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 3 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 23 mA
(typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of
-12 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available
in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The
ZRO2405A1LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
ZRO2405A1LF is well suited for satellite communication and digital radio applications that require ultra low
