 Stealth Microwave Introduces the SM4450-43L a GaAsFET Amplifier

Stealth Microwave's SM4450-43L GaAsFET Amplifier ¬20W, 4.4-5.0 GHz Ultra Linear RF Amplifier

Stealth Microwave introduces the SM4450-43L a GaAsFET amplifier designed for various military and commercial applications demanding high performance. The unit operates from 4.4 to 5.0 GHz with a P1dB of +43 dBm and OIP³ of +62 dBm. Small signal gain is 55dB with a flatness of ±.5 dB across the band. Standard features include a single +12VDC Supply, Thermal Protection with Auto Reset, and Over/Reverse Voltage Protection. Optional features include TTL On/Off, RF Sampling, and High Speed Switching up to 100 KHz. In module form, the unit measures 7.5 x 3.97 x .79 inches; an integral heatsink is also available. This amplifier is also available in lab unit and 19” rack configurations.

Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
