for Wideband Applications

Stealth Microwave introduces the SM0825-40, a GaAs FET amplifier designed for multipurpose use in military and commercial markets. The unit operates from 800 to 2500 MHz with a P1dB of 40 dBm across the band and an OIP³ of +50dBm. (typ.) Small signal gain is 39 dB with a flatness of ± .75 dB across the band. Standard features include a single +12VDC Supply, Thermal Protection with Auto Reset and Over/Reverse Voltage Protection. Optional features include TTL on/off and Forward Power Detection. In module form, the unit measures 6.7 x 4.0 x .8 inches; an integral heatsink is also available. This amplifier is also available in lab unit and 19” rack configurations.

The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while tying up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...
