NuWaves Engineering currently has need of an RF Design Engineer to design and develop RF circuits, components, and systems, create documentation, and support customer needs. Experience with amplifiers and frequency synthesizers is required. An RF Engineering Technician is also needed to support design and production efforts using a variety of solder and rework tools, test equipment, and laboratory organizational skills. An Engineering Manager is sought to write proposals, direct engineering and manufacturing activities, set and analyze financial goals, oversee staffing, and perform RF design as required. Successful applicants will be confident, self-starters with relevant experience in the applicable positions.

RF Design Engineer

NuWaves, a premier supplier of RF Systems, RF Products, and Engineering Design Services, is actively seeking talented and highly motivated RF Design Engineers with 4 plus years of experience in RF system and/or circuit design to support Engineering Development.

NuWaves is a fast growing Radio Frequency (RF) Design Engineering firm located in Middletown Ohio – North of Cincinnati and South of Dayton.

Individuals must have knowledge of RF systems and circuit design. Experience with Phase locked loops (PLL), low noise amplifiers (LNA), power amplifiers (PA), demodulators, modulators and other communication circuitry is essential. Job responsibilities include design and development of RF circuits and support circuitry. Experience in system design a plus.

Individuals must be self-starters, motivated, and be able to work with an integrated product Team. The individual will provide RF engineering services to support military and industrial clients.

Job responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Design high performance RF circuits and RF systems
• Write system and subsystem requirements
• Develop high power amplifiers in VHF, UHF, L, S, and C Bands
• Develop low noise amplifiers and custom filters
• Support the writing of technical proposals and whitepapers
• Develop low phase noise synthesizers
• Develop other RF custom solutions as directed
• Meet with clients as applicable to discuss RF Products
• Write white papers and support documentation of NuWaves' RF Products
• Develop test procedures for RF Products
• Participate in program design reviews and client visits

Engineering Manager

NuWaves, a premier supplier of RF Systems, RF Products, and Engineering Design Services, is actively seeking talented and highly motivated Engineering Manager.

General Summary:

Reporting to the CTO, the Engineering Manager directs the implementation of various strategic and tactical operations by performing the following duties either personally or through direct reports:

Essential Functions:

• Write and present proposals, reports and related findings.
• Participate in development and deployment of NuWaves' mission and business strategies. Actively partner with NuWaves' business leaders to establish, implement, and monitor short term and long term strategies for driving business results
• Coordinate with engineering staff, manufacturing, and other inter-company teams to meet the requirements of the engineering services projects
• Make recommendations to the CTO to improve the financial performance associated with Engineering Services.
  Responsible for leading and supervising design engineers as they develop, test, modify and create solutions to technical problems
• Perform RF Design
• Write and administer performance reviews and solve internal issues
• Make detailed plans to accomplish goals
• Check technical accuracy of work
• Oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence
• Communicate job expectations while enforcing policies and procedures

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in RF Engineering and 10 plus years of related work experience
