RF Cafe began life in 1996 as "RF Tools" in an AOL screen name web space totaling 2 MB. Its primary purpose was to provide me with ready access to commonly needed formulas and reference material while performing my work as an RF system and circuit design engineer. The World Wide Web (Internet) was largely an unknown entity at the time and bandwidth was a scarce commodity. Dial-up modems blazed along at 14.4 kbps while typing up your telephone line, and a nice lady's voice announced "You've Got Mail" when a new message arrived...

JFW Industries, Inc. was founded in 1979 in Beech Grove, Indiana by Fred and Joetta Walker. JFW is a leader in the design and manufacturing of RF components and application specific test systems. These components include attenuators, RF switches, and specialized test systems for use in the cellular, telecommunications, OEM test equipment, medical, automotive, defense, and automated test systems markets. Innovative new designs and a focus on customer requirements have allowed JFW to maintain steady growth in many key market segments.


JFW has over 100 dedicated employees working two shifts, diligently to insure quality assembly and on-time delivery. Each ISO-trained employee represents our 25-year commitment to providing reliable RF solutions. Beginning with an industry renowned Customer Service Department, everyone at JFW strives for complete customer satisfaction by responding to the needs of each customer individually and providing the RF component or system that best suits that customer's application.


JFW has over 14,000 square feet of design and manufacturing space, located in Indianapolis, Indian (USA) with a European office located in England. We currently maintain a flexible production schedule and have the capacity to operate two full-time shifts. We are equipped for most facets of the design, assembly, integration and testing of RF technologies.
