"Hot fields in the U.S. include embedded engineering, control engineering, and robotics. The key word used in describing electrical engineering job trends this year is 'high,' according to Angela Keller, vice president of recruiting at the U.S. recruiting firm Randstad Engineering: 'High growth, high salaries, high demand, high competition among hiring companies.' That competition is benefiting EEs, giving them both a plethora of choices and better entry-level paychecks.
