QST's H. Ward Silver published this article in Nuts & Volts magazine describing some of the activities planned for next month's total solar eclipse that will stretch from Oregon to South Carolina. The man must write with both hands to publish so much material every month! Hams in the U.S. have not had such an opportunity to experience nighttime propagation during the daytime since 1979's total eclipse which passed through only 5 northwestern states.
