Performed operational and technical duties for the deep space satellite tracking sensors which relayed information from Diego Garcia to Cheyenne Mountain; Performed scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of assigned electro/digital, electro/optical and servo systems equipment. Execute diagnostics and fault isolation procedures. Operate site systems and 42” sensors to collect metric data, radiometric data, and processing of communications messages. Train contract and customer personnel on the Optinex DWDM optical transport and Metro enterprise product lines. Support post sales with final acceptance tests, document review/modifications and product performance evaluations in field and lab. Provide field support for customer emergency outages.
