Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
          - Powder Processing Division

GEA Process Engineering Inc., a full service company specializing in process systems and solutions, is seeking a Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our Powder Processing Division. We were established in 1974 and promote an environment where all employees are valued and treated with respect.

You will perform all instrumentation and controls related work on assigned projects and supports other departments as directed; Specify equipment, implementation control, incorporate specifications requirements into design, requisition component, assist in panel design, perform checkout of panel, provide field checkout and start-up assistance; Coordinate I&C schedules and budgets with project manager and I&C manager; Coordinate design requirements with Design staff; Assist with development and assembly of operations and maintenance manuals; Provide engineering support for other departments (Sales, Purchasing, Data Processing, etc.).


To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have the following desired qualifications.
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering OR similar degree paired with 2 years hands-on process control experience OR 5-plus years relevant experience
  • Able to work safely in industrial environments
  • Able to travel approximately 20% of the time
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must possess good English language communication skills, verbal and written
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills and work well in a team setting as well as independently
  • Must be self-motivated
  • Advantageous to have working knowledge of MS Office products and Lotus Notes
