Test Equipment Product and Application Specialist

Principle Responsibilities:
  • Identify and recommend products and related peripherals and accessories to add to our rental inventory, recommendations based on analysis and understanding of market needs, trends, competitive intelligence, and ROI
  • Forecast revenues in various equipment categories
  • Gather market data ensuring our rental inventory levels are in line with market demand
  • Train rental agents on existing and newly acquired rental products and their application
  • Uncover market segment and product opportunities for the rental and sale of electronic test equipment
  • Build and manage supplier relationships
  • Expand and manage co-op supplier marketing activities
  • Review lost rental opportunities, identify causes and recommend product solutions
  • Track key performance metrics and create periodic reports detailing category performance
  • Organize on site supplier training for sales team and technicians
  • Ensure the success of supplier marketing programs
  • Analyze and understand market segments and equipment choices to maximize growth rate and ROI
  • Assist in promotional activity (i.e.: trade shows, training material, marketing literature etc).
Qualifications:
  • Previous marketing experience in Product management in electronic test equipment or related field
  • Marketing or sales experience with electronic test equipment manufacturers, manufacturer's representatives, or test equipment distributors is a plus
  • Technical background is highly desirable
  • A basic understanding of the equipment and applications used by engineering departments in the design and      test of RF, Microwave, EMC, AC and DC Power, Telecom and general purpose test equipment is highly desirable
  • Ability to multi-task, manage details, and strong organizational skills are essential
  • Experienced with CRM, MS Word, Excel, and Power Point
