| Position Title: ODU Project Engineer SUMMARY: Provide project engineering and management support to the Director of Outdoor Unit (ODU). The project engineer will also interface with vendors and other functional areas within WildBlue. ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Support ongoing programmatic and technical activities of WildBlue ODUs
- Develop excellent working relationships with WildBlue infrastructure, engineering, and business operations as well as WildBlue equipment vendors
- Provide technical support for development projects
- Participate in weekly program reviews (as assigned)
- Develop proper documentation of all activities

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Computer skills required with proficiency in MS Office applications
- Matlab, LabView, CAD programs, database programs, and/or other engineering analysis tools is desirable
- Ability to work either independently, or as a dedicated team member, and provide daily or weekly status as necessary
- Ability to plan and execute project assignments
- High attention to detail
- Self starter
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: - BSEE, BSME or comparable degree
- 3-5 years experience and knowledge in the design, production and operation of CPE systems, and laboratory testing
- Prefer experience in production, packaging, field operations, network operations, and/or quality assurance
- Prefer experience or knowledge in project planning and control
