Mid-Atlantic RF Systems, Inc. specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of RF components and sub-systems, including wireless and microwave radio communication systems. In-house design and development experience covers products from surface mounted hybrid couplers to low noise and power amplifiers to low cost broadband tuner/receivers. IPC 610A certified assemblers and inspectors ensure the highest quality manufacturing process for our own products and for the Mid-Atlantic RF Systems, Inc. value added RF and microwave contract manufacturing operation. Mid-Atlantic RF Systems, Inc. focuses on building long term positive customer relationships by providing outstanding service and value, through a dedicated commitment to quality and professionalism. | Senior RF/Microwave Engineer Description: The engineer will be called upon to begin the design with a system analysis. This usually entails a cascade analysis whether it is for a full receiver or a subsystem. Knowledge of RF parameters such as Noise Figure, IP3, Dynamic Range, and Spurious and how they interact are essential. The engineer must have experience with RF design CAD tools such as Microwave Office, Agilent ADS, and Eagleware. Simulating circuit and component designs using linear, non-linear and EM analysis is essential. Analog design experience using op-amps and transistors are typically a part of any RF and Microwave design. Experience: A minimum of 5 years designing RF and Microwave systems and circuits. The engineer must have bench experience using a variety of RF and Microwave test equipment. The following design experiences are desirable: - Front end receivers from 0.1 to 18 GHz
- Frequency Synthesizers including multi-loop and YIG based designs
- System Parameter Analysis using cascade analysis
- Microstrip and Stripline design techniques in filter design
- Microwave Office experience using linear, non-linear, and EM simulation
- Familiar with RF component designs including Low Noise Amplifiers, Medium Power Amplifiers, and Microwave filters
- Use lab equipment including Spectrum Analyzers and Network Analyzers
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in physics or equivalent relevant engineering discipline. Please direct inquires to: Mary Weidman mweidman@modularcomp.com Mid-Atlantic RF Systems is an equal opportunity employer. |
