Other duties include write and review technical content of designs and corresponding to the Integrated Product Design process and Engineering organization standards. Equivalent Education, Experience and Knowledge Requirements: BSEE, CpE or other related engineering field, with hardware emphasis/Communications Engineering. Experience Required: - At least 8 years engineering experience, the majority of which has been in the design and development of digital and analog design for communications equipment. Wireless data design experience is a plus, as well as experience in baseband design of cellular handsets, general software defined radio design, military radios, DSP based design, FPGA placement and design. Power Supply design experience is preferred.
- Knowledge required in digital and analog design for communications products. Knowledge is preferred in Cadence design or equivalent tools, signal integrity analysis, timing analysis of memory & IO subsystems, SPICE, PCB design on high-speed or low noise designs, Linux based script languages (PERL etc.), RF communications systems, data networking.

The Senior Staff Engineer-Systems will be responsible for the development of advanced spread-spectrum VHF and UHF radios with geolocation functionality. They should have a systems and analytical background in support of trade studies, theoretical analysis, functional requirements analysis, system architecture definition, HW/SW integration, and system test. This position will be responsible for applying Systems Engineering processes to System-level product and technology integration. We seek an engineer with demonstrated focus on improving product development processes to minimize time-to-market. This role will require project planning and leadership of teams of 5 to 20 Engineers and Technicians.
