john.kingma@continental-corporation.com | | RF Engineer Job Description/Responsibilities: - Position will be as a member of an RF team tasked with developing Cellular modules for use in automotive applications based on GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS chipsets.
- Circuits may include transmitters, synthesizers and/or receivers.
- Design work will include circuit simulation, tolerance analysis, verification testing, and overviewing board layout, as well as component selection, evaluation and qualification.
- Integration work will include determining radio level phasing and testing, field testing, analysis of and resolution to design issues, factory introduction, support, and yield improvements.
Education, Experience and Skills Required: - BSEE required MSEE desirable along with minimum 2 years experience.
- Knowledge of s-parameters, matching, receivers and transmitters.
- Familiarity with ADS and RF test equipment.
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong teamwork and organizational skills.
- Must be able to handle tasks in parallel and be highly motivated.
