Job Description

Responsible for assisting the responsible project leader on large developments or leading the internal project team on smaller assigned projects. Supports the development and execution of project plans which meet all requirements, including customer specifications and internal standards and processes. Ensures product quality and customer satisfaction are emphasized.

  • Assists the designated project team leader on larger projects or leads smaller projects with some level of management oversight. Participates in or leads project meetings and design reviews, and tracks progress of day to day commitments.

  • Responsible for providing limited customer reporting and status, as assigned.

  • Monitors the project progress against the goals and provides reports to supervisor/manager. Provides regularly updated cost inputs for use in pricing models as required.

  • Develops detailed project plans which meet the required customer and/or internal milestones, specifications, and product cost goals, within project budget and staff assignments. ensures all known or potential risks are identified and mitigation and retirement activities are incorporated into the project plan. Incorporates the documented project management process into all projects. Makes use of available standard project scheduling and planning tools.

  • Supports or maintains project plans regularly and reports to management on progress. When problems and issues arise, participates in structured problem solving and root cause analysis, as well as the execution of appropriate corrective actions.

  • Monitors project progress vs. staffing plan and reports any resource constraints.

Digital Engineer II

  • Oversee PWB layouts.

  • Evaluate current capabilities of layout software, and recommend course of action regarding training, choice of auto router, etc.. with a strategy to better integrate RF (in Autocad) and digital layouts (Using PADS).

  • Assist in board level designs and schematic capture, for analog, digital, and high speed digital designs.

  • Support senior digital engineer in digital design of FPGA's, PAL's,, ASIC's Support legacy products with trouble shooting, and obsolescence of digital analog and RF parts.

  • Support proposals as required Conduct PWB layout reviews with Anaren and customers.

Required Experience

  • 3 years min experience in high speed digital design, and multifunction board design and layout.

  • 1 year min experience with automated PCB layout tools
    Familiarity with RF design integration and analysis tools desired BSEE Min, MSEE preferred.

  • Working knowledge of VHDL desired.

Job Description

Responsible for the identification and development of new business opportunities and customers to meet the strategic growth and revenue goals of the Space and Defense Business Unit. Actively seeks out new opportunities through market research and customer contacts under the direction of the Manager of Business Development.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overall responsibility for managing the business relationship with assigned customers.
  • Gathers market intelligence to identify market and sales opportunities and new product development opportunities.
  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing supporting data and making tactical capture recommendations including bid/no-bid decisions, capture plans, product offering, and pricing recommendations.
  • Directly interfaces with customers, assesses and validates market opportunities, defines the capture strategy, and executes the capture plan to closure.
  • Supports strategic planning by understanding customer requirements and trends, identifies and recommends product development needs, and provides insight into competitive and market trends.
  • Responsible for contributing to total customer satisfaction by providing high quality and timely service to all internal and external customers.
  • Acts as a customer representative to develop compliant and competitive solutions based on expressed and implied customer requirements.Works closely with development and operations to develop solutions which meet performance specifications, delivery requirements, and cost goals.
  • Provides Technical Sales support for Regional Sales Managers.
  • Direct contact with people of all levels both internally and external, and will need to work with customer's procurement and engineering groups.
  • Must be responsive to the needs of potential customers and follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal.
  • Positively represent Anaren and make presentations to various groups within the customer's organization, as required.
  • Keeps abreast of market needs through regular travel and network contacts.

  • Prior sales experience with large aerospace primes is a definite plus.
  • Prior product design and development experience also desired.
