In this position, you will provide support to circuit designers in the selection and application of high-reliability electronic parts for space applications. You will generate component specifications, serve as the technical liaison between Engineering and Procurement by participating in parts specification review and the part procurement process, and evaluate the performance of high-reliability components and parts. In addition, you will be responsible to evaluate radiation effects, provide support for vendor parts data reviews and failure analysis, and serve as an interface with customers regarding component issues and specifications.
Skills:
Familiarity with the construction of capacitors, diodes, transistors, and resistors
In-depth knowledge of the effects of radiation on electronic components in space applications.
Background in destructive parts analysis (DPA) as well as parts failure analysis.
Experience working with surface mount technology.
Working knowledge of government specifications for space high-rel parts, such as MIL-STD-975M, MIL-STD-1547B, JPL-D-8545, MIL-PRF-19500.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to work with suppliers and other staff members.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from a four-year college or university in the electronics or physics disciplines, and ten years related experience, with extensive knowledge of Electric, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) components usage and parts screening requirements, components circuit applications, and the specifications and technical parameters of active and passive parts.
Candidates must be motivated team players. US Citizenship required.

We need a self starter who knows how to plan and manage all Quality aspects of Aerospace contracts from Design Proposal, through Production and Post Delivery. The QE should be familiar with Industry standards, terminology, documentation and reporting requirements. Aethercomm is growing rapidly and our flight and space design contracts are increasing.
Skills:
ISO 9001 or AS9100 knowledge or experience is required.

The right candidate will play a large role in improving our processes and in obtaining AS9100 certification.
US Citizenship is required.
Education/Experience:
An Engineering Degree and 5 years of QE experience in Aerospace is highly desired.

Performing RF module and system level design and supporting the manufacturing effort; interfacing with customers and preparing reports.
Skills:
2+ years PA design experience, including design and development of RF power amplifiers employing GaAs, GaN, SiC, Silicon Bipolar, LDMOS, VDMOS or MIMIC technologies
Experience with frequencies between 20 MHz to 20 GHz is highly desirable.
Experience with power levels from 1 watt to 1000+ watts is also desired.
Other RF design capabilities such as receiver, transmitter, filter, frequency translation, and high power combining are a plus.
Maintain current and accurate design documentation.
Prepare electronic designs as required to meet commitments of the Company with minimal supervision.
Provide engineering support to the test and production departments, as required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
US Citizenship required.
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years experience in the RF industry will be considered. An MSEE in RF/Microwaves is highly desired.
Candidate must be a responsible, autonomous self-starter.
